After
your treatment your body may experience some reactions. This is perfectly
normal, as a cleansing procedure is taking place. It is certainly
not something to be alarmed about. In fact it can be seen as a positive
indication that your body had successfully responded to the treatment
received. Yet this is not to say that if you do not experience any
symptoms that you have not benefited from the treatment.
Anywhere
there is an excess of toxins in the body - possibly due to pollution,
chemical additives to the food chain, ill health, smoking, drugs or
drinking for example - the likelihood of experiencing a Healing
Curve will be increased. Also those with deep-rooted emotional
issues are more likely to experience some sort of a reaction to the
treatment. Each Healing Curve will be different depending on
the individual's physical and emotional needs. Having said all that,
often there can be no other reaction experienced other than total
relaxation and better quality of sleep.
So
if you do experience any of the following symptoms below, the response
time can also differ with each individual. They usually pass within
12 to 48 hours. Yet if you find yourself becoming overly anxious and
have actually received a treatment from me, then please do not hesitate
in to contact me. Often just explaining how you are feeling and hearing
a reassuring word is enough to put you at rest.

After
Care Advice
To
help minimise the physical effects of the Healing Curve it
is advisable to drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses).
Reduce or if you can manage it, eliminate tea, coffee, fizzy drinks,
cordials and alcohol for at least 48 hours. This will assist your
body in flushing any toxins from your system. Try drinking herbal
teas instead (it's just a matter of getting used to them). Nettle,
Peppermint, Rose Hip and Chamomile are all known for their relaxing
or digestive properties. On the evening of your treatment have a
light meal, avoiding those sugary creamy desserts! Finally, relax,
leave what you can until tomorrow, and If you wish to further your
relaxation why not take a warm bath, but not too hot!
If
you do experience symptoms of a Healing Curve, it is recommended,
within reason, that you avoid the temptation to take painkillers
or any flu remedies. These will only add to the toxins your body
is trying to eliminate. Rest, drink plenty of water, eat light and
have an early night. It is rare for a Healing Curve to be debilitating.
