How it all came about:

My interest in Complementary Health Therapies began back in 1997 after hearing about Reflexology. I started inquiring about any local courses available and came across one beginning in September of 1998.

After receiving my diploma in Reflexology, I knew I didn't want to stop there and looked around for other therapies that interested me and that I could learn locally. This brought me on to Reiki. I found a place that taught it in depths of the Burren, in county Clare, which seemed perfect as I had just moved out to that region myself. I completed First Degree Reiki in October 2000 and went on to complete Second Degree Reiki in May of 2001.

A chance opportunity came about in June 2001 where I got to spend 18 months in California, in which time I received a certificate in Craniosacral Bodywork.

On returning home once more in November 2002, I received a certificate for the Module 1 in Body Mind Balancing, and a certificate in Indian Head Massage in April 2003.

In 2006 after a two year course, I graduated with a Diploma in Psychology of Counselling, run by the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Most recently in 2007 I decided to move my practice from my home of Aughinish, into the beautiful surroundings of Kinvara village. I am now located in the wonderfully 200 year old converted buildings of the Irish Seaweed Treatment Center, where I also carry out Seaweed Wraps.
